The Eco-Leadership Series is an ongoing flagship initiative designed to ignite a paradigm shift in how young Ghanaians perceive and respond to climate change. Through a dynamic mix of training workshops, peer-led knowledge exchanges, and public engagement campaigns, the project seeks to empower a new generation of climate-conscious leaders who are well-equipped to take bold, local actions for global impact.

This project offers young people across Ghana the opportunity to build leadership and advocacy skills, gain practical tools, connect with global peers, and amplify their voices on pressing environmental issues.

The Mobile Irrigation for Enhanced Smallholder Productivity (MAESP 1.0) is an innovative project by Green Planet, Thriving People aimed at boosting year-round farming in Ghana’s Bole District. By using tricycle-mounted water tankers to deliver irrigation from newly drilled boreholes, the project will support 200 smallholder farmers, create jobs for local youth, and improve food security in drought-prone communities. Through climate-smart training and sustainable water access, MAESP 1.0 empowers farmers to grow more, earn more, and build resilience to climate change.
